Login Information

To login to Blackboard, use your first initial, last name and last four digits of your social security number as your username, and your entire social security number without dashes as your password.  For example:  Joe Doe with an ID of 999-99-9999 would login as jdoe9999 as the username and 999999999 as the password.  John Doe Sr with ID 123456789 would login as jdoe, sr.6789 and Jane Thomas-Doe with an ID 123-45-6789 would login as jthomas-doe6789. 

Once you have logged in, click on the "EMCC Student Home" tab if you are a student or the "EMCC Faculty Home" tab if you are a faculty or staff above to see the course you are enrolled in.  Then, click on the particular course you wish to view. 

                              Desire2Learn

Students, faculty and staff click here to access courses that are taught using Desire2Learn (D2L).  If you are logging into D2L for the first time, your username is first initial of first name, entire last name and last four of your SSN (ex:  jdoe1234) and your password is the same (ex: jdoe1234).  You will have to change your password once you login for the first time.

Your Student Profile 

Your student profile allows you to verify your enrollment in MSVCC courses, review your course schedule, determine which platform your course will be taught on (Blackboard or D2L), view your instructor contact information, and your required textbook information. In the event that you find an error in your profile, or no profile is found for you, contact the office of distance learning at your local community college for assistance.
